Development Technical Lead
POSITION
Key contributor to the development, implementation and support of our Applications, Services and Data Processes. Our systems support multiple business units across the organization as well as significant levels of integration with B2C/B2B websites, 3rd party vendors and business partners. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Team mentorship of defined architecture standards, tooling, processes and code implementation.
  • Team project execution within a defined portion of the overall application, services and processing stack.
  • Understand and evaluate business requirements in context with our overall system solutions, including systems outside primary area of responsibility.
  • Perform gap analysis between business requirements and application/service functionality.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, users, and cross-functional architecture team to develop comprehensive solution designs and recommendations.
  • Prepare solution design documentation (functional specifications, technical design documents, etc.).
  • Drive design review meetings and evaluate technical requirements and options.
  • Assist in the development of technical standards and guidelines for .NET applications and services.
  • Participate in code reviews and release planning.
  • Stay abreast of the current and future .NET/Microsoft technology stack direction.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred. Experience and/or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 8 years C# .NET development experience in a team environment.
  • Strong experience with Service Oriented Architectures required. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in design and implementation of RESTful API’s leveraging Microsoft .NET.
  • Strong TSQL and Data Modeling experience required. Minimum of 5 years preferred.
  • Ability to interact with business users to understand requirements and then translate them into design specifications. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Experience with source control, Scrum/Agile process, and task tracking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft .NET best practices, Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and Build/Release Management.
  • Thorough understanding of application development, project lifecycle, and methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems as well as troubleshoot and isolate system issues.
  • Outstanding communication and team collaboration skills required.
  • PowerShell experience and experience with batch processing patterns a plus.
